Apple Getting Ready to Launch 7th Gen iPod touch with All-Screen Design
#1
Quote:Rumors pointing to a new-generation iPod have been swirling around for many months, but as per Apple’s typical approach, not a single hint was offered that the company could be working on such a device.

But as it turns out, the 7th Gen iPod touch is closer than we think, and there’s a good chance it’d feature an all-screen design with virtually no bezels, more or less like the iPhone XS.

An icon discovered in iOS 12.2 beta 4 by Jonathan Mitchell shows the possible design of the upcoming iPod, with no home button apparently pictured. Interestingly, the device doesn’t seem to feature a notch either, so there’s a chance that Apple could give up on some features versus the iPhone.

Details about a possible launch date of the new-generation iPod touch aren’t available right now, but Apple will be holding a new event on March 25 at its own headquarters. Many speculate this is the right moment for Apple to announce the new iPod, especially because the company typically uses the September event for the unveiling of new iPhones exclusively.
