HP refreshes its Pavilion x360 14 with a metal design and 4G LTE - silversurfer - 20 April 20

Quote:Today, HP announced its newest Pavilion x360 14, adding more value to the budget-friendly convertible laptop. The new Windows 10 PC comes with "seamless 3D metal", so it's packed into an all-new design. Of course, pretty much everything else is better too.

For the first time ever in the mainstream Pavilion lineup, the new x360 14 has an option for 4G LTE cellular connectivity. It also comes with Intel's new Ice Lake U processors - a Core i3-1005G1, Core i5-1035G1, or Core i7-1065G7 - and with the top end CPU option, you'll get Iris Plus Graphics.

HP says that the FHD screen has been improved as well, including three-sided micro-edge bezels for a smaller footprint, and 250-nit brightness (220 nits on the HD model). As you'd expect from HP, the speakers are from Bang & Olufsen.

Ports have been upgraded as well, as it includes a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port for 10Gbps data transfer speeds, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and HDMI 2.0.

Best Buy has the new Pavilion x360 14 starting today in Natural Silver and Warm Gold, starting at $499 and $749, respectively. HP.com will be selling it starting in May in Forest Teal and Natural Silver, starting at $549.99.
