"An out-of-band optional update is now available on the Microsoft Update Catalog to address a known issue in which certain printers may be unable to print after installing updates released June 9, 2020," the company says on the Windows Message Center.
 
According to the company, the issue could cause the print spooler to "generate an error or close unexpectedly when attempting to print, and no output will come from the affected printer."
