Lenovo unveils the ThinkVision M14t portable display, available in September for $449 - silversurfer - 08 July 20

Quote:At last year's Mobile World Congress, Lenovo showcased its ThinkVision M14 portable display. It was a thin and light monitor built to extend your screen real estate, although it did not have touchscreen support.

Today, Lenovo announced a touchscreen version of that display in the form of the ThinkVision M14t. The monitor rocks a 14-inch FullHD display with a ten-point touch functionality. It supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity when you use an active pen with it for sketching or annotating. That means you can draw on your PC even if it does not support pen input with the added touch capability of the M14t.

The monitor can also be used in both landscape and portrait orientations, plus it comes with automatic screen rotation support. Like last year's model, you can prop up the display at various angles with its adjustable kickstand. It's also pretty light, weighing only 698 grams (1.5 pounds). In addition, it features TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light technology for minimizing eye strain while also sporting up to 300 nits of brightness. Its USB Type-C ports let you connect the monitor to any compatible device and transfer video and audio files, as well as data. The USB-C power pass-through capability also enables the charging of the display and a connected laptop simultaneously.
