Other users, however, report problems including unintended touch registrations, unresponsive screens, and lag in response.
 
Another user posted a detailed touch screen test on Reddit, comparing the touch responses to the Note10, noting that the S20 FE faced trouble responding to two-finger gestures like pinch and zoom. It is not clear if the issues faced by users is caused by a hardware/manufacturing defect or if the problems can be solved via software. A few users on Samsung’s forums claim that the firmware version ending with “ATIG” solved the problems, but the responses suggest that it is hit and miss.
 
Folks over at 9to5Google and SamMobile both seem to have experienced this issue on their devices. Considering the increasing number of reports, it looks like the issue may be widespread, despite the South Korean giant claiming otherwise in a conversation with 9to5Google.
