High-end mobile gaming systems and premium workstations have now shifted to desktop-class HX series, whether it’s Intel Core or AMD Ryzen systems. The series are essentially repurposed desktop chips in BGA packages preinstalled on the laptop motherboard. While users cannot replace the CPU as they can in desktop systems, they are provided with similar configurations, though with reduced clock speeds and power limits.

As a reminder, Intel is about to announce the Core Ultra 200K series for desktops, with the flagship model called Ultra 9 285K, featuring 24 cores and a 5.7 GHz boost. This part will have a TDP (Processor Base Power) of 125W. The company is also working on an HX variant for laptops, which is rumored to feature 24 cores but with lower clocks at 5.5 GHz boost and a likely TDP of 55W.

The full lineup has been posted by Jaykihn, who has previously correctly shared Core 200K and Core 200V (Lunar Lake) clock speeds. The chart shared by the leaker includes all known clock states for both the P-Cores (Lion Cove) and E-Cores (Skymont), as well as configurations and clocks for integrated Arc (Xe-LPG) graphics.
