In July, AMD launched the Ryzen 9 5900XT and Ryzen 7 5800X3D, expanding the AM4 platform with more processors. The current lineup includes 20 SKUs in the Ryzen 5000 series alone, with many more in the 1000-4000 series. AMD clearly doesn’t want the AM4 platform to become obsolete, as the company has introduced over 145 processors in the past nine years.

However, this isn’t the final word yet. AMD is now set to introduce the Ryzen 5 5600T and 5600XT processors, as indicated by new entries on motherboard pages. Each brand maintains a list of supported CPUs for each motherboard and BIOS version, and these lists now mention the 5600T and 5600XT, both of which are 6-core processors.

MSI’s page confirms that the 5600T is a Vermeer processor, and the 5600XT is expected to use the same silicon. This suggests that potential users will get a proper desktop version, similar to the 5600X/5600, rather than a repurposed mobile APU. However, this also means these processors will lack integrated graphics.

According to early specifications, the 5600T offers a 3.5 GHz base clock, while the 5600XT is said to have a 3.8 GHz base frequency. There is no information on turbo clocks yet, but we do know that both are 65W TDP SKUs.

AMD has not confirmed the release of these CPUs yet, and it’s possible they won’t. Many of the processors listed below were never officially announced; they simply appeared on AMD’s website without prior notice.
