Lossless Scaling is a paid tool that enables both upscaling and frame generation on supported hardware. It operates at the system level, not as a native in-game feature or a driver-based solution. We’ve mentioned this tool several times because it receives frequent updates and, despite being a paid product, it has earned very positive reviews.

It appears that some fans of the tool have forked the concept to Linux, focusing specifically on the frame generation feature. This could mean that frame generation support may soon expand to more games.
