windows image backup of windows 10, it is not working.
maybe you can create an image of your system
with windows 10
but you will not be able to recover it, it does not work.
I've tried it several times. always gives error
Microsoft recommends using third-party backup programs.
So you know, do not waste your time and risk your data.
It seems that they have removed this feature without warning.
What happened to you too?

I'm not so surprised by your experience, I already saw other complaints about it in different forums...
I using manual backups to external device and also Macrium Reflect Free for full image system backups...

I am using macrium reflect and acronis and if i remember correctly a user at some forum said that built in system backuo works on windows 7 but not on windows 10.

that's right, in windows 7 it works perfectly
but in windows 10 it does not work.
so nobody should trust those system images
look for another way to save your systems.
in the forums of microsoft there are innumerable complaints and possible solutions, it is a waste of time, it just does not work
