A report from AndroidPolice and citing sources familiar with Samsung’s plans reveals that the Galaxy Note 10 could come without a headphone jack.
 
While this is likely to cause a certain amount of criticism from fans who expected Samsung to resist this trend, the Note 10 is likely to come with just an USB Type-C connector that can be used for both charging and listening to music.
 
However, Samsung will push harder for the adoption of wireless headphones, especially after the launch of the Galaxy Buds earlier this year.
The headphone jack won’t be the only feature getting the axe on the Galaxy Note 10, as Samsung also wants to remove the physical volume and power keys on the smartphone.

According to the cited source, all these buttons will be replaced “by capacitive or pressure-sensitive areas,” which Samsung could set apart from the rest of the phone with bumps or textures.
