Quote:Microsoft added the ability for Outlook on the web to suggest replies based on the content in an email back in 2018. The feature lets users quickly choose pre-set replies without having to compose text on their own. Over time, the feature has received enhancements such as the ability to suggest calendar availability based on queries in the email.
Now, another nifty addition that is rolling out for the web version of the email client is the ability for suggested replies to directly prompt recommended files. The ability for the service to suggest files is not new, since the file attachment option provides a list of potential files from OneDrive based on the email content.
However, the addition of the feature for within suggested replies brings the ease of directly choosing the attachment from a dropdown menu, if the file is present in the suggestions, that is. The new capability also lets users directly browse locations and select files. Once selected, the email switches to a draft with the file attached. It must be noted, however, that the suggested files feature is available only for the English language and is limited to Outlook on the web.
