We use ESET Internet Security (Default Settings)
We practice safe internet habits. We are average users. I am a medium-level user and can handle security alerts, etc.
Would you recommend default-deny security to our setup?

I think that if You have safe browsing habits, You don't need to any extra protection, but ... You may perform some tweaks in Your ESET:
