Apple launched the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro in April of this year, but it came at a steep price of $299 for the 11-inch variant. If that's not within your budget, Logitech today unveiled its own take on the Magic Keyboard, but priced a bit lower.
Logitech's Folio Touch is a keyboard that also doubles as a tablet case. It's specifically designed for the first and second-generation 11-inch iPad Pro, featuring a foldable design and an adjustable kickstand. It has an integrated trackpad with support for multi-finger gestures including swipe, scroll, pinch, switch apps, and double tap. The keyboard case includes a row of shortcut keys for iPadOS as well, with quick access to the home screen, screen brightness, volume media controls, and other functions.
The backlit keys also adjust their brightness automatically depending on room lighting. In addition, you can prop up the kickstand up to 40 degrees and even fold the keyboard behind the back of the tablet. The keyboard pairs with the iPad Pro automatically through Smart Connector, a feature that also enables the keyboard to draw power from the tablet. When connected to the Folio Touch, the iPad Pro can be used in four modes: typing, viewing, sketching, and reading. It will be available to purchase for $159.99 later this month via Logitech and Apple's online marketplaces.
