The 14th Gen Core series was mysteriously absent from the highly anticipated Innovation 2023 event, a cornerstone of the company’s annual presentations.
Nonetheless, after the official keynote, a reference was made to an upcoming ‘Refresh’ for the Raptor Lake series, although it hardly served as a substantial teaser or something for consumers to eagerly anticipate.
Intel’s global social media accounts currently remain silent. However, Intel China, which operates a specialized channel known as “Intel Core Products,” has posted a teaser on Weibo. This teaser clearly hints that something related to Core14 is on the horizon, and it’s just one day away.
This account is, of course, alluding to the impending announcement of the new series and the commencement of preorders, scheduled for October 16th. The official launch date and the commencement of sales are set for just one day later.

Moreover, a recent leak has surfaced, indicating that laptop manufacturers are poised to transition to the latest 14th Gen Core-HX series. This leak originates from momomo_us, known for actively scouting for leaks on retailer websites. If this turns out to be accurate in this instance, it implies that a wave of new laptops will be hitting the market in the near future.

For upcoming mobile series, it is important to note that, Intel Raptor Lake Refresh series is expected to be integrated into two distinct lineups. It willcould find its place either within the 14th Gen Core series, specifically under the HX category for high-end gaming models, featuring a default TDP of 55W. Alternatively, it will also serve as a mid-range solution within the Core 100 series, coexisting with the Meteor Lake chips, which bear the “Ultra” branding.
