In their recent announcement about the Threadripper 7000 series, AMD discreetly hinted at an upcoming workstation GPU. Their PRO graphics card lineup, tailored for high-end systems, now boasts four models. However, the release of the Radeon PRO W7700 is set to close the noticeable specification gap.
The Radeon PRO W7700 has been confirmed to feature 16GB of memory, as revealed in the Dell Precision 7875 workstation’s press release. AMD, while acknowledging the forthcoming series update, didn’t unwrap all the specs. Notably, the PRO W7700 will sport a distinct cooler design compared to the W7800 and W7600, but will stick to blower style design.

Almost certainly, the card will house the Navi 32 GPU, which made its debut just last month alongside the gaming-focused Radeon RX 7800XT and RX 7700 XT graphics cards. While the exact specifications of the PRO W7700’s Stream Processors remain undisclosed, it wouldn’t be surprising to see it equipped with the full Navi 32 specs, especially given that the W7800 already utilizes the Navi 31 GPU.
AMD refrained from providing a precise launch date for this card. However, since it was mentioned in Threadripper press releases, it’s highly likely that the PRO W7700 will be unveiled alongside the new HEDT CPU series, slated for November 21st.
