Quote:The work on the Chromium Microsoft Edge advances, and the Redmond-based software giant has recently added a feature to prepare the synchronization between the PC and the Android versions of the browser.
The most recent update for Microsoft Edge on Android (still in beta for the time being), introduces new options that let users choose the PC app they want to sync with.
There are two choices available right now, namely the currently-stable Microsoft Edge, which is offered as the default Windows 10 browser, and the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge available as part of Microsoft Edge Insider Channels.
Needless to say, we’re still in the early days of this new sync system, so it’s not as advanced as it is with the stable version of Microsoft Edge running on EdgeHTML.
At this point, you can only sync favorites, but Microsoft says it’s already working on adding support for more content in the browser.
“We’re currently working on expanding the features for syncing across devices. In the coming months, you’ll see passwords, open tabs, autofill, and other features made available for sync,” Microsoft explains.
