If you try updating your PC with Memory Integrity enabled, you will receive the message, "Your PC settings need to be adjusted before upgrading to the latest version of Windows 10. Turn off memory integrity protection to continue." Microsoft has listed the following as the cause:

- Open Start Menu and search for Windows Security.
- Navigate to Device Security > Core Isolation.
- Now click on the toggle to turn off Memory Integrity.
- Restart your computer.
