With the redesign that has been in development for a few weeks now, Google will replace it with 'Overview' and 'Manage' tabs and renames the page to "Manage apps & device." Pending app updates will be grouped at the top, with users having to tap on "See details" to view the pending app updates along with their changelogs.
This page will also contain details on the storage used of your device along with the ability to share installed apps via P2P. There's also a receive button for this, though the feature is not yet active. This P2P sharing will send APK files to the receiver instead of just redirecting them to the Play Store for downloading the shared app or game, thereby making it a useful addition in countries where mobile data and internet connectivity are still spotty.
The 'Manage' tab gets an even bigger redesign and now contains filters for Installed, Updates Available, and Games. The redesign still seems to be a work in progress so it is unclear when Google will release it but a debut alongside the new Pixel smartphones in a few weeks from now is possible.
