On April 24, 1990, the telescope made aboard the space shuttle Discovery to conquer space. One day later, Hubble has already been exposed in orbit. Around 120,000 times since it orbited the Earth, it took tens of thousands of objects targeted and held it to more than one million photos. For the first time "click" it made on May 20, 1990. Each week sends the observatory some 120 gigabytes of data to Earth, which is about 26 DVDs. Nearly 13,000 scientific publications have already appeared in his observations.
