Intel is following AMD and NVIDIA by replacing its main software tool with something new.
Now, Intel is officially introducing changes to its special tool called Arc Software. This software serves as Intel’s graphics control panel, driver updater, and display optimization tool. While Arc Software was already quite good, it lacked features that gamers would immediately notice when switching from AMD or NVIDIA software. However, the gap is narrowing.
Of course, one should address the elephant in the room, which in this case is the software’s name. Similar to AMD dropping “Radeon Software” in favor of “AMD Software” and NVIDIA recently completing the transition from “GeForce Experience” to “NVIDIA App,” Intel will be doing the same. Once the tool is released as a stable version, “Arc Software” will no longer be its name.
