The story of the Devil May Cray revolves around the twin brothers Dante and Virgil, the sons of the demon Sparda and the angelic wife of Eve. Spard was well-intentioned for people and tried to protect the human world from attacks of the underworld, sealing the transition between the two worlds. In this confrontation, Eve was killed by enemy demons. Two brothers were born as Nephilim (hybrids of demon angels) and therefore endowed with supernatural powers, now stand between the two worlds and try to compete with each other, but each of them finds its own way.
