Today, alongside AMD's announcement of its Ryzen PRO 4000 processors, Lenovo announced the ThinkPad E14 and E15, which, strangely enough, include non-PRO Ryzen 4000 chips. You can get them with up to a Ryzen 7 4700U, an octa-core processor built on AMD's 7nm Zen 2 architecture.
Lenovo made some design changes to its entry-level ThinkPad lineup, as it now offers an 85% screen-to-body ratio. It now has both a fingerprint sensor and an IR camera for the first time as well. As with all ThinkPads, they're meant to be durable, passing a variety of MIL-STD-810G tests.
But that's not all, because Lenovo also announced pricing and availability for its ThinkPad T14, T14s, X13, L14, and L15, all of which were announced back in February for what would have been Mobile World Congress and actually do include AMD Ryzen PRO 4000 processors. All of these laptops are going to arrive in June.
