Quote:Last year, HP announced the Elite Dragonfly, promising to deliver the lightest-ever 13-inch business convertible. Now, it's doing the same for its mobile workstations with the ZBook Firefly. The clamshell comes in 14- and 15-inch sizes, and it passes MIL-STD-810H durability tests.
The ZBook Firefly 14 is 8.8% smaller and 5.2% lighter than the previous 14-inch ZBook, and it has an 84% screen-to-body ratio. That screen can also be equipped with HP's new Sure View Reflect display. The 15-inch model is 9.5% smaller and 1.8% lighter than its predecessor, and it has a 86% screen-to-body ratio. Of course, if you don't want Sure View, you can go for the UHD HDR400 option.
For performance, these PCs include Intel's Comet Lake U processors, up to the hexa-core Core i7-10810U. You'll probably want discrete graphics as well, so for that, you can get an Nvidia Quadro P520 with 4GB GDDR5. HP says that the 14-inch model has 50% better graphics performance than its predecessor.
It's also the smallest mobile workstation to include both Wi-Fi 6 and 4G LTE. And while you can stay connected on the go, you can make use of up to 17 hours of battery life.
The HP ZBook Firefly series will arrive in August, starting at $1,099.
