Android Studio 3.0 is ready to download from 25th October 2017. Announced at Google I/O 2017, Android Studio 3.0 is a large update focused on accelerating your app development on Android.

What is New

Kotlin programming language is now officially supported for Android development.

Layout Editor has with better drag-and-drop view insertions, and a new error panel.

Add custom fonts & downloadable fonts using XML with Android Studio 3.0. (Oreo only)

Android Studio 3.6.3 is now available in the Stable channel.
If you already have an Android Studio build on the Stable channel, you can get the update by clicking Help > Check for Update (Android Studio > Check for Updates on macOS). Otherwise, you can download here.
This minor release fixes a caching issue for modules with DataBinding and bundles the Kotlin 1.3.71 plugin.
