Sophos Acquires Secureworks

Sophos has recently completed the acquisition of Secureworks (an American cybersecurity company known for its advanced cybersecurity threat intelligence and its cloud-based security platform, "Taegis," which uses AI and real-world threat research to detect and respond to complex cyber threats, allowing organizations to streamline investigations and automate security actions; essentially providing a comprehensive managed detection and response (MDR) service.) Sophos Completes Secureworks Acquisition
While today is our first day as a combined company, w e already have a full and clear roadmap for the way ahead together. Extending the threat intelligence that powers our defenses

With the acquisition, the Secureworks’ Counter Threat Unit (CTU), renowned for intelligence about advanced persistent threats (APT) and state sponsored attackers, will join the Sophos X-Ops advanced threat response joint task force. This expanded unit will deliver unrivalled and diverse threat intelligence, further extending our customers’ defenses through expert insights into today’s complex threat landscape.
