Where to get:

Tencent PC Manager Global receives new versions every one or two weeks. It will offer upgrades automatically, one click and the upgrade process is done without the need for a reboot. If ignored, user will be warned of a possible security risk, offer for the new version appears again within minutes.
I believe the Behavior Blocker / HIPS rules are updated, since the functions and the design remained unchanged for a long time.
There is no changelog available.
Tencent also offers a rescue disk, which I haven't tried yet. It can be downloaded here: https://www.pcmgr-global.com/download.php?do=rescue
AntiVirus Engines:
In addition to it's own cloud database ("The largest security cloud base all of the world. The best anti-virus engine."), it also contains a Bitdefender 3rd party engine. The initital signature download takes very long. To my experience, there is no delay in signatures, if a file is detected by Bitdefender on VirusTotal, it also is by Tencent PC Manager Global (signature auto-update happens multiple times an hour, without the need of user input).
Recommended custom settings:
Realtime protection mode: Expert mode (Prompt upon detecting suspect actions)
File system protection level: High (monitor all file operations)
Action on threat detection: Choose action manually
Download Protection: Security prompt on dangerous files only
***Be aware some of them did reset after reboot (first installation), just set them again, click Apply and check after another reboot, they now should stay set.
They even did so after in-app-upgrade.***
