Quote:Microsoft has released the very first update for the Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser in the Canary development channel.
Now at version 75.0.124.0, Microsoft Edge Canary is set to receive daily updates, but this is particularly important because it’s the first in a longer series that should help refine the browser.
Since it’s a daily build, Microsoft doesn’t provide a changelog, albeit several important changes can already be noticed versus the original Canary version.
For example, the Picture-in-Picture mode that Microsoft Edge browser now comes with also features a mute button. This is an update that Google Chrome Canary also received, so sooner or later, all Chromium-based browser should get the same update.
Additionally, it looks like the Canary update also includes further dark theme improvements. Microsoft Edge already comes with a dark mode, but it’s disabled by default. After installing the update, however, the flags screen also respects the dark theme when the dark mode overall is enabled.
