What is the best way to download youtube music or movies?

How do you download music/audio(mp3) or movie(mp4) files from sites like Youtube.com, DailyMotion.com, Vimeo.com to your computer?

I have found several sites that will download them for you to your computer, but does anyone know other sites, free software, or a better way?

I use Internet Download Manager. It sometimes has an issue, no download bar on videos, and you have to refresh the page or restart the browser. You cannot download MP3 or audio-only.

I'm also trying Ant Download Manager Pro. It surprised me, works well, can download MP3 or audio-only too, and handy options enhance the usability.

Fast Video Downloader, IDM, Ant DM, FDM etc. and online sites.
Eagleget was a good DM some time back. Now it cannot download even a single video from any site. useless!
