But this year, there's also a new member of the Spectre x360 lineup, the Spectre x360 14. Interestingly enough, it doesn't actually have a 14-inch display. It's 13.5 inches, but Spectre x360 13 was already taken. It's the first Spectre with a 3:2 display, an aspect ratio that Microsoft popularized with its Surface products.
The display comes with up to a 3000x2000 resolution, and this one comes with an OLED option as well, a rarity when it comes to odd aspect ratios. HP is also adding some improvements to its Display Control app, which changes the color profile of the display depending on what you're doing. This will now happen automatically depending on what app you're in, so it will be optimized for web browsing when you're in Chrome, for photo editing in Photoshop, and so on.
The whole idea behind the 13.5-inch 3:2 display is that it's the width of a 13-inch laptop while it's the height of a 15-inch laptop. And of course, it comes with 11th-generation processors, Iris Xe graphics, Thunderbolt 4, and so on.
There's also one more Spectre x360 that HP is announcing today, and that's the Spectre x360 13 5G. This one still has 10th-generation Intel processors, so it's more similar to the x360 13 that's currently on the market, but it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem inside of it, supporting sub-6GHz 5G.
