MD is quietly adding more Rembrandt-R mobile APUs.
The Ryzen 5 7235H and 7235HS are the latest additions to the Ryzen 7030 series, built on the Rembrandt Refresh architecture. It’s worth noting to note that these processors feature Zen3+ cores, differentiating them from the Ryzen 7040 series, which utilizes Zen4 architecture.
These new APUs come in a quad-core configuration with 8 threads. They are compatible with the FP7r2 socket and operate within a power envelope of 35 to 53 watts, with a default power consumption of 45 watts.
Detailed specifications reveal a base clock speed of 3.2 GHz and a maximum boost clock of up to 4.2 GHz. The 7235H variant is particularly tailored for the Chinese market, sharing the same clock speeds as the standard 7235HS variant.

In addition to the Ryzen 5 7253H, AMD has recently introduced other 7000 CPU, namely the Ryzen 7 7435H(S) SKU. This SKU has been added to the AMD website as well, confirming it’s an 8-core Zen3+ APU. The manufacturer has now confirmed that the 7435H has a clock speed of 3.1 GHz, a detail that was not included in the previous report.
Both SKUs have one thing in common, which is the lack of integrated graphics. However, there is some confusion as the main specs sheet lists integrated graphics as present. It is highly likely that these SKUs do not have integrated graphics enabled.
