The tourism industry is one of the first sectors of the economy to be hit by a new coronavirus infection. We are talking about not only a viral and medical blow – after all, the first outbreak of the disease in many countries was the result of the return of citizens from foreign travel, but also a financial blow – due to the spread of COVID-19 around the world, current tours had to be interrupted, and planned for a later date-canceled or postponed. In such conditions, tour operators, travel agents, carriers and other participants in the tourist services market suffered serious losses. However, no matter how fucking it sounds, in some countries it can be a driver of growth in tourism within the country. Tour operators will partially cover their losses, and the owners of hotels and resorts will be able to additionally attract customers and demonstrate all the advantages of a holiday at home. It is no secret that many residents know very little about their country and strive to go beyond it.
But without government support, of course, this problem will be difficult to solve.
