Among the features of ExpressVPN that I believe will protect me during this pandemic is their military grade encryption in tandem with the new Lightway protocol using wolfSSL (where security has been vetted by 3rd party auditors), KillSwitch (Network Lock) and the TrustedServer! That thing that they did with instead of hard disks they use RAM and everytime a reboot is done all data are wiped clean. That is privacy at its best because all information on their servers are wiped every time it is powered off.
