  NOTES / OBSERVATIONS / FINAL WORD
  
  EaseUS VideoKit is a comprehensive toolkit to do most of the ordinary editing of any user's video whether it be for any purpose. EaseUS is targeting the new crowd of vloggers and the like to use this application and I can tell you that it is easy-to-use and understand. The UI is intuitive enough and again, easy to navigate. It does not sport a full video editor but only the often-used features such as trimming, cropping, cutting, applying basic effects, and enhancing audio quality. I did not delve into all intricacies of VideoKit and selected only some features to tinker with, such as some limited editing features, and common features that enhance and elevate the content of videos.   AI technology is a trend these days and almost all app developers are jumping on the bandwagon and utilizing it for improving their apps. EaseUS also took this step and have incorporated AI technology in their apps (EaseUS RecExperts and EaseUS Video Editor). EaseUS VideoKit also has it's portion of AI technology powered features. They are (1) Subtitle Generator, (2) Voice Remover, and (3) Noise Remover. 
  
  I generally use a 'subtitle generator' for some videos I need to show for an audience with hearing impaired or might use (or view at night or when there is a need to not use the video sound at all). AI technology has made this endeavor easy nowadays because I remember back then I had to manually input all and create the SRT file from scratch. I mean it is 'truly' exhausting just to make a 1-hour subtitle for a video. Even just 'correcting' SRT files is a burden and time consuming. 
  
  Now EaseUS VideoKit is offering 'Auto Subtitle Generator / Subtitle Generator' and this is what made me more interested (just this one AI feature I tested). But the excitement was short lived because I never had the chance to make it work as the app itself has issues with 'analysing' the video file I used for testing. 
  
  Specimens used are ON1 Software tutorial video files (used with permission). Trimmed so it'll be accommodating enough for testing/trial. On both 'trimmed' videos, VideoKit had issue 'analysing' it thus it failed and there wasn't any chance for me to test it. See image below. 
  
   
  
  
  
  EaseUS CS has been informed and they are checking out the claim. I will update this review as soon as there is any new info on this particular issue. 
  
  To show comparison (and show that the specimens are not that hard to use and auto-generate subtitles -- they are just 32 seconds / 45 second 'trimmed' videos), I used online sites. Sites utilized are: (1) veed.io, (2) kapwing.com and (3) zubtitle.com 
  
  All three (3) sites gave good results and options given but with a 'free account' there is the 'watermark' that every free user has to contend with. Subtitles were also correct. Anyway, as mentioned, this is just to show comparison (to dispel anything that will be relegated to user error or internet speed and the like).   While VideoKit has a free version, some features are only available in the paid version (Pro version). Let it be known that VideoKit is a just a 'toolkit' and not a full-pledge video editor. Just a 'toolkit'. I mention this because the advertisement borders on 'VideoKit' being an editor. 
  
  Today, almost all video editors support all the features showcased in VideoKit --some premium video editors even have the capability to upload directly to online storage / social media sites from the editor apps user interface itself, have their own screen recording app and downloader. 
  
  VideoKit doesn't have a 'downloader' --they just created a tab solely to advertise 'EaseUS Video Downloader'. I think they should remove that because it is useless and is just plain advertisement. This is like the 'Advanced Editor' of EaseUS RecExperts teasing the user to get EaseUS Video Editor Pro. 
  
  Overall, EaseUS VideoKit for PC is 'still' a valuable tool for anyone looking to enhance/improve their videos. Personal or not, this app can help you create quality videos worthy of sharing in social media. If the user isn't into heavy editing and the like, then EaseUS VideoKit can suffice for him. The issue with the 'analysis failed' of the 'Subtitle Generator' is still 'open'. This feature should work as advertised. No sense advertising that this app can do it IF this issue is not fixed. I am waiting on feedback and corrective actions from EaseUS support on this. I have sent the actual video files to them. The same video files that I used on the three (3) online subtitle generators which gave good results. Even the creation is not that long. The longest wait was I think 10 minutes max. As mentioned, I will update this review as soon as I get results from EaseUS support.
