Nintendo has finally revealed new details about its next-gen gaming handheld during the latest Nintendo Direct. The presentation provided a wealth of information, including some basic specifications for the upcoming system.

The new handheld features a 7.9-inch display with a 1080p resolution, supporting HDR and capable of up to 120 fps. Notably, the system offers 4K support when docked, enabling up to 4K 60 FPS in HDR mode. Among the confirmed games is Metroid Prime 4, which will support a Performance mode at 1080p 120fps. In handheld mode, the quality adjusts to 1080p 60 fps and 720p 120fps, respectively.

One of the standout new features is the enhanced functionality of the Joy-Cons, now called Joy-Con 2. These controllers introduce a new mouse mode, compatible with certain games and tech demos.
