7-Zip 18.03 is available for download as a beta version
There is a new version of the free 7-Zip Pack program. Currently, everyone is currently using version 18.01. In the new beta version of 18.03, Igor Pavlov corrected some errors, and also made many improvements regarding speed. If you do not want to wait for the final version, you can try it.
What's new in this version. The speed for single-stream LZMA / LZMA2 decoding has been increased by 30% in x64 and 3% in x86 version. 7-Zip can now use multithreading to decode 7z / LZMA2 if there are several independent data blocks in the LZMA2 stream.
7-Zip can now use multithreading to decode xz if there are several blocks in the xz stream. There was an error from 18:02 corrected. No xz file could be created there via the GUI. Other minor bugs have also been fixed. If you want to see the version, you will find here downloads
