In the "Division of Tom Clancy" a pandemic of smallpox broke out, destroying every infrastructure and civilization on the planet. There is chaos and anarchy. They join the military special efforts of the "Division" to at least arrange some sort of order during the apocalyptic winter in Manhattan.

The Swedish developer Massive Entertainment has in detail recreated the island of New York's Manhattan district, so a huge, open and bright world for you to freely explore.
Depending on the style of the game you prefer, you can do your research alone or as a soloist with three other players in the urban canyons of the winter jungle. To hire other players for your own squad, the harbor has an outpost where you can meet other players. In the rest of the world, you will be mostly alone or with members of your target group on the road. The only exception is the so-called Dark Zone near Times Square.
This area is a kind of PvP zone where you will meet other players who are either fighting or working with you to get an especially good prey. Then from this feature of the game there are then very exciting situations, since it may be, for example, that you have a traitor in your ranks that turns into the last second against you and does with all the prey from the dust. Of course, this can be very unpleasant. As most players behave in this zone, it is not yet visible.
