Quote:AMD to display more detailed specs for Zen4c CPUs
The CPU maker will update product pages in a few weeks.

AMD recently unveiled its Zen4c microarchitecture for consumers, which is designed for its entry-level Ryzen mobile series. The company clarified that these cores share similarities with Zen4 in terms of IPC (instructions per cycle) but come with reduced caches and may offer lower clock speeds.
The Zen4c architecture is a smaller core design, which was first used in EPYC Bergamo processor for cloud-optimized workloads. The Zen4c core is smaller by 35% compared to Zen4, mainly due to reduction of the cache. While the underlying architecture is the same, those are not the same cores and will not perform the same, and that information should be more clearly shown to consumers.
The Ryzen Z1 as an example, only mentioned the architecture as “2x Zen4, 4x Zen4c” without specifying the clocks for each core type. Intel, on the other hand, shows clock speeds for both types of cores and even clocks for various boosting technologies if they apply to a particular SKU. One thing to note, however, is that Intel’s hybrid design is not the same as AMD’s, as Intel is using entirely different cores for its “Efficient” core design. Nevertheless, there is not really much of a point of showing ‘full specs’ on AMD website if they lack detailed specs.
