Most are RTX 5070 series, but there are many 5080 cards as well.

NVIDIA has updated its Small Form Factor (SFF)-Ready graphics card list, now featuring the RTX 50 series. Interestingly, many of the cards listed have not yet been announced by board partners, making this a good opportunity to glimpse what AIBs (Add-in Board partners) are working on.

It’s worth noting that the majority of the SFF models are from the RTX 5070 series. These cards, with TDPs of 250-300W, are easier to design and require less complex cooling solutions. NVIDIA has also updated the graphics to include the RTX 5090 Founders Edition design, which is currently the only RTX 5090 model with a dual-slot configuration.

The RTX 5090 FE appears alongside 5080 FE and 5070 FE, while 5070 Ti FE is not included because NVIDIA is not lauching its own model for this SKU. NVIDIA has designed the RTX 50 card innovatively by minimizing the PCB footprint and optimizing airflow. Jensen Huang described this card as “basically a giant fan,” and the picture shows why:

The SFF-Ready program officially enforces dimensions of 2.5-slot thickness, 151 mm height, and 304 mm length. These specifications align well with the capabilities of board partners’ advanced cooling designs. Many partners have adopted vapor chambers and phase-changing thermal pads, which help maintain lower temperatures despite the increased TDP of many RTX models.
