AdGuard Browser Extension v5.2.400.x

AdGuard Browser Extension v5.2 brings several improvements to the app’s usability and appearance.

The most significant change is that now you can update your custom filters seamlessly with just one click. This became challenging after moving to MV3, but the function is back.

Also, we have added an animated loading icon for the extension popup, so now you can easily check if the extension is up and running.

In this hotfix, we’re automatically migrating all users from the outdated TDI driver to the more reliable WFP driver. This change comes as a solution to an issue reported by users, ensuring filtering works with the latest versions of Chrome-based browsers, which aren’t fully compatible with TDI.

TDI isn’t going away completely — you can still enable it if you want to. But if you do, the app will show you a clear warning explaining the potential issues and how to temporarily fix them. For all the details, check out our Knowledge Base.

AdGuard for Mac 2.18

Great news! Version 2.18 brings a noticeable step forward in performance, stability, and compatibility. One of the main highlights is support for three new AI-powered browsers: ChatGPT Atlas, Perplexity Comet, and Dia. Now you can enjoy clean, ad-free browsing there as well.

We’ve also updated the system requirements: AdGuard for Mac now supports macOS 12 and later.

Alongside that, we refreshed the Filter List Manager, polished many internal processes, and fixed a number of issues to make everyday app use smoother and more reliable.

AdGuard VPN for Windows 2.8

This update brings several meaningful improvements to AdGuard VPN for Windows. We’ve introduced accessibility features so more people can use the app comfortably.

Accessibility support​We’ve taken another step toward making AdGuard VPN more inclusive. In this version, we’ve added accessibility support for the home, authorization, and onboarding screens: you can now rely on screen readers for clear descriptions of icons, buttons, and dynamic elements. These improvements are just the beginning, we will continue to make AdGuard VPN even more comfortable for all users.
