Samsung working on high-end Android tablets with 11-inch and 12.4-inch displays

The tablet market is dominated by iPads, with almost every other major Android OEM bowing out of the market. Samsung is one of the few Android OEMs that continues to release Android tablets from time to time. The company had released its flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6, in June last year featuring a 10.5-inch display. A report claims that Samsung is now working on two flagship Android tablets with display sizes measuring 11-inch and 12.4-inch, respectively. The former carries the model number SM-T87x, while the latter carries the model number SM-T97x.
 
This would make Samsung's upcoming Android tablets a direct competitor to Apple's iPad Pro lineup which features two iPads with display sizes of 11-inch and a 12.9-inch, respectively. Like the Galaxy S20 series, the Korean company could change the numbering scheme of its flagship tablet lineup for this year as well and call it the Galaxy Tab S20.
 
The upcoming tablets are expected to sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 chip, 5G connectivity, bigger batteries with 25W or 45W fast charging support, and run Android 10 out of the box. There's no word on when Samsung will get around to announcing its flagship Galaxy Tab tablets for 2020.
