Quote:Apple Music on the web has exited beta testing and is now rolling out. The latest development was first spotted by MacRumors.
Beta testing for Apple Music's web player kicked off off in September of last year. With Apple Music's web player now out of beta, the music streaming service can be accessed directly by visiting music.apple.com on any browser, where its music content will directly play. And those who would visit the beta website will be redirected to the new version. This removes the need to have the Music app to open the service.
Of course, you'll have to sign in with your Apple ID account with an associated Apple Music subscription in order to access your playlists and the same content recommendations you'll find on the Music app for macOS, iOS, and Android. In addition, the web player lets you access the same features that you'll see in the Mac version of the app such as “For You,” “Browse” and “Radio” sections. Music Replays are also available, providing curated songs from every year you’ve been using the service.
