Quote:Intel finally introduced its Tiger Lake mobile processors today, with the new Xe graphics platform and significantly improved performance. Hot on the heels of the announcement, Dynabook has refreshed its Portégé lineup with a couple of new devices weighing under one kilogram, powered by Tiger Lake CPUs. Both can be configured with either an Intel Core i5 or i7, but both options coming with the higher-tier G7 graphics.
First, there's a convertible, the Portégé X30W-J, and that comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen, with an IGZO panel from Sharp. For sound, there's Harman Kardon stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. You can get it with up to 1TB of SSD storage and 32GB of DDR4 RAM, an there's a 53Wh battery to power the whole thing. All of that comes in a package that weighs less than 1kg, though Dynabook didn't specify the weight.
In terms of connectivity, there's Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, as well as a healthy supply of ports - two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen1 port, HDMI, a combo audio jack, and a microSD card slot. For security, there's a Windows Hello IR camera and fingerprint sensor, and both devices also meet the requirements for Microsoft's Secured-core PCs.
