Acer announces a new Spin 7, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G

Qualcomm is introducing its next-generation PC chipset today, and one of the first companies on-board with the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G is Acer. The Spin 7 is set to be the firm's first Windows on ARM PC, and it's also set to be its first 5G PC.
 
Like Lenovo's Flex 5G, which was the only other ARM-powered 5G PC, the Spin 7 will include support for sub6 and mmWave 5G. That means that it will support the low-band signals that meet you wherever you are, and the high-band millimeter waves that deliver blazing-fast gigabit speeds. Of course, the latter only works outdoors right now.
