Important Update Available in Trend Micro Security 2021

Trend Micro Security 2021 is set to automatically receive an update as long as you are connected to the Internet. When you see this notification, all you need to do is click the Update button and let the program update on its own.

Trend Micro Security regularly releases an update to apply hotfixes, including any security fixes and fix known issues.
 

FOR WINDOWS 7 Users

Microsoft has formally announced Windows 7 End of Support. Because Microsoft no longer fixes issues on this version, it has become increasingly difficult for Trend Micro to keep users safe on this operating system. We encourage all of our users to upgrade their PCs to a more modern operating system which will provide greater stability and security

Once the update is complete, the Trend Micro Security program version would change to 17.0.1257.

Fixed issues:

• The OneDrive folder path disappears from the Folder Shield protected folder list
  
• The default protected folders are unchecked after switching user.
