AMD to unveil the desktop Ryzen 9000 series next week, launch expected in July
Chiphell leaker wjm47196 claims that there is no change to the core count for the new Ryzen desktop series.

A new rumor comes from wjm47196, who left a cryptic message on the Chiphell forums. This leaker has provided firsthand information on upcoming AMD products before, and many of these claims turned out to be true.
AMD is reportedly preparing at least four variants of desktop Zen5 CPUs with different core configurations. It is claimed that the initial lineup will feature Zen5 cores exclusively, with no distinction between ‘big’ and ‘small’ cores. It is further mentioned that 16 core, 12, 8 and 6 core variants will be released, matching the initial lineup of Ryzen 7000 series from 2022.
This lineup is reportedly set to be shown at Computex next week, and users should expect the launch in July. If this rumor is correct, AMD will launch desktop Zen5 CPUs in July and the mobile variant in August, as claimed by another source.
