AMD has launched a new version of Ryzen Master, listed as 2.14.1.3286. This version focuses on certain optimizations for the new Ryzen 9000 series as well as EXPO, AMD’s memory overclocking profiles.

The updated Ryzen Master now allows EXPO to be applied on the fly, meaning no restart is required. Users can make changes without leaving Windows or entering the BIOS. Additionally, there are new optimizations and parameters included in this update.

AMD is also introducing a new ECO Mode, which sets the TDP to 105W for Ryzen 9000/X3D models. This feature changes the power setting for supported CPUs, which could be useful for users running systems for gaming and work.

While this update mentions that AMD confirms this version no longer supports Threadripper 1000 and 2000 series, it should be noted that AMD had already dropped support for these CPUs in September. Therefore, the changelog below simply repeats changes that were introduced in previous updates.

Quote:AMD Ryzen Master 2.14.1.3286
  • Adds support for 105W Eco Mode to systems utilizing AMD Ryzen™ 9000 Series 65W and 120W desktop processors
  • Adds support for systems utilizing AMD Ryzen™ 9000 Series desktop processors for the AM5 platform
  • New features introduced (applicable to select CPUs)
  • Memory can be overclocked on-the-fly (applying EXPO profile does not require a system restart)
  • Additional memory tuning parameters are introduced, providing further customization options for optimizing memory performance
  • DF P state information is provided in the Home view
  • In IRM control mode users can adjust the PBO parameters (EDC, TDC, and PPT) up to the IRM limits but not exceeding them
  • In Manual control mode CPU speed can be adjusted in steps of 5 MHz
  • An advertisement banner has been incorporated, providing information on the AMD products
  • Support discontinued for AMD Ryzen™ and AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ 1000 and 2000 series processors
For CPU optimizations and overclocking, the changelog also reports the ability to adjust CPU frequency in 5 MHz increments (also present in previous version). The Curve Optimizer remains one of the most popular tabs for enthusiasts using this software, so any enhancements here will likely be widely utilized.
