Do any major game developers actually use NVIDIA Streamline? Yes, in fact, many games do. Titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Black Myth: Wukong, No Man’s Sky, and The Witcher 3 all use Streamline. So, what is Streamline? It’s an open-source, cross-vendor solution that simplifies the integration of upscaling technologies like DLSS, XeSS, and FSR.
If a game supports Streamline, there’s little reason not to enable all three solutions. In theory, this should make it easy, but in practice, many are still waiting for games like Cyberpunk 2077 to support FSR 3.1, while the game received a day-one update for DLSS 4. The code is maintained by NVIDIA as part of its GameWorks library. However, since it’s open-source, other vendors may contribute patches as well.
