AMD has introduced Ryzen AI Embedded as a new embedded x86 processor portfolio with two branches. P100 targets in vehicle systems and industrial automation, while X100 is the follow up aimed at heavier “physical ai” and autonomous designs.
For the parts AMD is shipping first, Ryzen AI Embedded P100 combines “Zen 5” CPU cores, an RDNA 3.5 GPU, and an XDNA 2 NPU on one chip. AMD rates the P100 series at up to 50 TOPS on the NPU, with a 15 to 54 W operating range. AMD also lists support for -40°C to +105°C environments and a compact 25 x 40 mm BGA package.

AMD’s published P100 table starts with 4 and 6 core SKUs across commercial, industrial, and automotive grade lines, including P121, P132, P121i, P132i, P122a, and P132a. NPU throughput is split between 30 TOPS and 50 TOPS depending on SKU. On I/O, AMD lists 2x 10GbE ports with TSN, plus USB4 on the non automotive entries. Memory support includes LPDDR5X with ECC at up to 8000 MT/s on selected models.
