I replaced the video comparisons due to conflict with the YouTube Channel owner because of apparent copyright etc.. Contesting the 'flag' will take time thus the replacement. Sorry for the inconvenience. I have thus amended the results here with the exeception of the "EDITING FUNCTIONS TESTED WITH EASEUS RECEXPERTS". The data shown there is still relevant and will give a preview on how EaseUS RecExperts does the limited editing. Methodology:
 

• 1. Identify online video from YouTube (Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power - Official Trailer. Prime Video YouTube Channel) for testing. RAW screen recording of about 2:39 minutes of video. All recording will be at 30 fps, saved in .mp4 format. 
  
  2. Subject all alternatives to RAW screen recording of said video. Save video and compare with EaseUS RecExperts screen recording. 
  
  3. All recording will be collected and merged into 2 videos: (1) Compare_Screen Recording Apps_1, and (2) Compare_Screen Recording Apps_2. Results will be posted in a social media site. The actual screen recording results will be the ones to be merged into the 2 videos. 
  
  4. Compare recording sizes. 
  
  5. Compare any observations as alternatives are used versus EaseUS RecExperts. 
  

 

All recording settings are the same for all apps used. All 30FPS recording, sound recorded is from desktop and 1080p resolution.

Bandicam 2024
Crisp sound and vivid color. Free version can suffice for a 10minute recording. No issues while recording said video. Can record anything in the screen including 'streaming'. Application does not include a video editor. Need to get 'Bandicut" free limited editor from Bandicam or use user preferred editor. New size comparison is at 37350 KB. 


iTop Screen Recorder 5.1.02520
No issues while recording said video. Can record anything in the screen including 'streaming'. Links (other than the screen recording) asks you to connect to the internet to download additional features, even screenshot, video editor. Crisp sound and vivid color. App constantly wants to connect to home site for upgrade and download of other iTop applications. Home site / upgrade site flagged as 'dangerous site' by Surfshark AV. New size comparison is the second largest at 80332 KB. 


ZD Soft Screen Recorder 12.0.1
Interface is awkward and somehow interferes with recording. Can record anything in the screen including 'streaming'.  Interface outdated / big. Floating pop-up is small. Sound volume decreased on actual recording even with the same settings used with all 5 alternatives. Color is crisp and vivid. New size comparison is at 34321 KB. 


CyberLink Screen Recorder 15
Crisp sound and vivid color. Recorded video has stutter. Can record anything in the screen including 'streaming'. Paid app with premium video editor included in PowerDirector 15 Suite. Good minimal interface. New size comparison is the largest at 153710 KB.


LUXEA Pro 7 Video Recorder
Excellent sound and vivid color. No issues while recording said video. Can record anything in the screen including 'streaming'. Paid app with premium video editor included in LUXEA Pro 7 Video Editor. Great interface and features. New size comparison is the smallest at 25961 KB.


EaseUS RecExperts
Crisp sound but recording color isn't as vivid. A bit washed up not as sharp in comparison with the other recorded results. No issues while recording said video. Equipped with built-in editor but very limited. Advanced edit links to the download of EaseUS Video Editor (paid app). Annoying survey pop-up everytime you exit. Good (though) limited editing features. New size comparison is the ssecond smallest at 31183 KB.
