1_Main menu
Shows the list of commands available in the program. 

2_Navigation Panel
Where the user can switch between EssentialPIM modules (and views). The "Navigation panel" can be minimized or maximized by pressing on the small arrow button on top-right corner of the panel.

3_Calendar
Shows the calendar days over month with highlighted / marked busy days pertaining to appointments, tasks and the like. It can be viewed via View > Sidebar > (check) Calendar. 

4_Module Toolbar
Offers the user a couple of ways to work with and manage records. Its contents depend on the currently active module. 

5_Main view
(Depending on the currently open module), shows either "Tasks/Messages" information pertaining to a set task or appointment in an open "Today" module, or "Tasks" in an open "Calendar module". 

6_Tasks (List 1)
Shows a list of created tasks (week view). A "full list" of all created "Tasks" can be viewed in "Today (-- set start page) via View > Sidebar > (check) Tasks. See#9 below. 

7_Messages ( Email )
Shows email messages of accounts linked to EssentialPIM. 

8_Reminders Window
Shows "reminders" set in either appointments or tasks. It can be viewed via View > (check) Reminders Window. 

9_Tasks ( List 1_Full List )
Shows the "full list" of created tasks. It can be viewed via View > Sidebar > (check) Tasks. 

Note: The start-up module can be set via Tools > Options > General > Star with. Here you can set your preference on any module you wish to see when EssentialPIM is started. The default start-up module is set to "Today".

 

 

EssentialPIM Modules

 

Today
Shows an overview of recent/upcoming appointments, anniversaries and tasks for the upcoming days. It now offers a quick glimpse of emails! "Today" module shows a consolidation of concise information of other EssentialPIM modules so you are guided accordingly. 
 

• Gives a full overview of things need to be done in a simple, color-coded layout. Data from all modules is collected here to give a short and long-term perspective.
  
• Extensive settings to adjust the view, like showing certain data or limiting to certain period make sure you see your day the way you want it.
  

Calendar
The "Calendar" module has been improved and shows a feature-rich and customizable calendar system that also seamlessly synchs with popular online services such as Google, iCloud and Outlook. Managing appointments, recurring events, and reminders has never been efficient with EssentialPIM! The Calendar module is a key part of EssentialPIM Pro and can be displayed in different views: Day, Week, Month, Week Agenda, Year, or Table. Views can be switched under the navigation pane at the left or under View menu (Day, Week, Week Agenda, Month, Year, and Table).

Tasks
This is the "To Do" list. This module lets you manage your work (To Do's) to suit your needs. You can arrange tasks in a hierarchy, divide them into tabs, sort by any field, assign different priorities and categories, create subtasks or "child tasks" to a "parent task", etc. Status of the tasks can be checked/tracked easily as EssentialPIM makes it granular for you towards achieving the goals of each task.

I previously wa using webmail and OperaMail in the meantime. For tasks scheduling I have the built-in Windows calendar. Since I won an EssentialPIM Pro license I never looked anywhere else and continued to use any other apps for my use. I'd like to join in this contest so I can upgrade my version 9 plus the EPIM Cloud 1-year subscription is a very nice bonus!

I use webmail and Outlook. For tasks scheduling I have the built-in Outlook calendar, but I hate it. 
What I like about EssentialPIM PRO is that you can take notes and schedule tasks with a reminder about them and a deadline date. There is a scheduler available and you can store passwords in the program. The manufacturer allows you to have a PC and android version, which is useful for synchronizing data, and EPIM Cloud allows you to synchronize and backup EssentialPIM data between these devices in a secure cloud.
EssentialPIM PRO also allows you to organize meetings invitations in Google Meet. It's lightweight, not what Teams is...
